The Camp Leelanau & Kohahna property is used for much more than just the summer camps. For those families that have attended the summer camps but have moved beyond the camper ages, there are alternatives that allow you to participate in camp activities and gives you the freedom to do it at your pace.
Family Camp
This program is for those families and individuals that want to experience the summer program but together as a family. The program is a weeklong stint that allows you to experience camp at your pace and you participate in the activies that you want to do most. Click here for more information on Family Camp.
Harvest Weekend
This program is for women only and allows the attendees the opportunity to reconnect with new and old friends. It also allow a person to focus on themselves and focus on becoming grounded with their core beliefs and feelings. Click here for more information on Harvest Weekend.
Leelanau Outdoor Center
The mission of the Leelanau Outdoor Center is to provide outstanding experiential and ecological learning in the natural environment that promotes the discovery and development of character, leadership, and knowledge. Our programs and facilities are top-notch, but the real success of LOC can only be attributed to our staff. The LOC counselors are among the most loving, enthusiastic, patient, and fun young men and women one could ever meet. Military Weekend
This program for Christian Science Military members is offered every other year by Camps Leelanau & Kohahna for all U.S. military personnel. Active duty, reserve, and retired military men and women who practice Christian Science, and Christian Scientists whose spouses are in the military, are all invited.
