Bugle Call

What makes a perfect second week of camp?

 ●       A growth, adventure filled CT trip to the Ontonagon River in the U.P. Paddles up!

 ●       A classic Pictured Rock hiking trip from Ugly to Pretty (IFKYK)

 ●       A hike at Empire Bluffs followed by Empire playground time followed by a Glen Haven picnic dinner followed by DUNE FOOTBALL.

 ●       Sunday Afternoon Human Stratego. Who’s the flag?

 Check Check Double Check! It was a week packed full of so much fun and activity - it was awesome. We also played Camo Dodgeball, did a very Bieber-inspired Counselor Fashion Show, played Big Base Kickball, and a variety of super fun Afternoon Activities. In between all these activities there was tons of singing and laughter. Nothing beats a good rendition of The Peppiest Girls!

This summer’s theme, Soul Inspired, was talked about at our All-Camp Saturday Metaphysical. We studied the parable of the talents (feel free to refresh your memory - Matthew 25: 14-30) and then talked about our own individual talents and the qualities we express. We related that to our own individuality and our expression of Soul.

The counselors and campers have settled into the groove of camp and this past week was filled with achievement, personal growth, deepened friendships, and so much more. We can’t believe it’s already time for the last week of the session. We’ll be sure to fill our days full this coming week before we have to say goodbye to the three week campers.

            Another amazing week of camp accomplished!
