Week 4
The Totally Tubular Tales of Lucy and Bonnie
Another amazing convo between Lucy the Lifeguard Tube and Bonnie the Bombardment Ball (and friends).
Bonnie: BEST WEEK EVER!!! Lucy, Bombardment on Monday was fire. My siblings and I had so much fun! Though TBH - some of them are still recovering. Those SkyTeam members can really whip it.
Lucy: OMG, that sounds awesome! When the girls came down to dip after the game they were buzzing with excitement. It made that evening dip wildly entertaining.
Bonnie: Truth. How’s life down at the beach these days?
Lucy: The weather this week has been on point. The Waterfront is hopping. Boat and swimmers galore! Canoeing, Sailing, and swimming classes are full of water babies!
Corinne the Canoe interjects: GUYS! I’m back in the game! There’s been so much canoeing at Kohahna this summer. We had a big class this week AND some of my friends went to Sand Lake Quiet Area and the Platte River. Those KOH girls really know how to walk the gunnels and do their hair dips! I also heard that next week they’re going to the Platte again and the Manistique up in the U.P. Canoeing is cool again!!!!!!!
Bonnie: Slow your roll Corinne, canoeing has always been cool - the campers just didn’t know it.
Lucy: Amen! But you’re def allowed to be excited about it!
Bonnie: But back to MY week - we also played Camo Dodgeball in the Pine Forest. Those kids slayed. I mean who doesn’t love running around throwing dodgeballs in the woods while wearing camo? Super fun
Lucy: Well my week was also pretty good though the morning of the 5K and Fun Run really threw off my groove since they didn’t come down for dips first thing in the morning. Though I’m not gonna lie…I had myself a little bit of a sleep in.
Betty the Bell: Lucky! I love Pippi but she never lets it rest…always ringing me and then yelling something about a good morning. Woof. She says the same thing every morning but Sunday. I think she should mix it up. Instead of “Good Morning Kohahna. Let’s Go Dip!” she should say “Wakey Wakey Eggs and Bakey” or something nonsensical like that.
Lucy, Bonnie, and Corinne all gasp: No! The children would be utterly confused and wouldn’t know what to do or where to go. That’s ludacris!
Betty the Bell: Calm your pits ladies - it’s not like I was suggesting Backwards Day.
Lucy shudders
Bonnie: The horror
Corrinne runs away and hides.
Bonnie: Betty - the bell is going to ring, Pippi is going to be loud, don’t be cranky about it. Without you camp would be lost…
Betty: yeah yeah I know but just everyone once in a while…
Lucy: ANYWAY…looks like 5th week is going to be just as great as this week has been. Trips, huge waterfront, *whispers*: maybe some Pine and Sand shows…
Mary the Megaphone - SHHHH! It’s a secret! *whispers*: but if it’s anything like the Lip Sync performances on Saturday it will be SOOOO cute and creative. I. Can’t. Wait.
