Hi everyone! My name is Kelsey Hanser and I’m from Raleigh, North Carolina. I just graduated from NC State with a double major in Computer Science and Math. This is my 14th summer at camp and my 5th on staff. If I could have any fictional character as my camper, I would have Percy Jackson because beach period would be so much fun with his water powers. I’m looking forward to being back up in Michigan and sharing all that the woods and Lake Michigan have to offer with campers!!

Hey y’all! I’m Kaya Nayback and I am from Plymouth, Michigan. This past year I finished up my junior year at Florida Southern College studying Business Administration and Marketing. This summer will be my 12th summer! If I were to have a fictional character as a camper I would love to have Fancy Nancy, I think we would get along well. Hi! My name is Morgan Nichols, or Mo! I am from Warsaw, Indiana but currently am living in Elsah, Illinois double majoring in Political Science and Education at Principia College! My name is Elaina Schupbach and I am so excited to have my first cabin this summer! I can’t wait to run some super fun activities and share more with my campers about Christian Science! I hail from Petoskey Michigan and have a two year Associate of Arts degree from North Central Michigan College. I have attended Kohahna as a camper for four years and worked on the LOC staff for two seasons. If I could pick any fictional character as my camper, I would choose Merida from Brave.

Hello! My name is Kora Schupbach, I am from Petoskey Michigan and have been going to camp for 14 years, this will be my first year on staff! I graduated from petoskey high school this spring and I’m planning on working at camp this upcoming fall. I am very excited to be at camp this summer to have my first cabin, to be outside, and to learn more about Christian Science. I am also excited to help teach my campers more about Christian Science and make them more confident in the practice of prayer. If I had to choose a fictional character to be one of my campers it would probably have to be Wall-e because he is not afraid to think outside the box.

Hi everyone! My name is Linden Hoff and I am so excited for camp this summer! In the fall I will be a Sophomore at Principia College. I am majoring in Educational Studies with a minor in Music. This will be my 11th summer at camp and my 2nd summer on staff. This summer, I am most looking forward to spending time in beautiful Lake Michigan! If I had one camper that was a fictional character, it would be Agnes from Despicable Me because she is so cute and I think she would love Kohahna!

My name is Margot Sloan, and I am from Oak Park, IL. I just finished up my freshman year at Clemson University studying Special Education! This summer will be my 13th summer at camp and my first year as a counselor! I cannot wait to live on the BEAUTIFUL shores of Lake Michigan all summer and get to know and spend time with all the KOH ladies! If I could have a fictional character as a camper, I would probably choose Olaf from Frozen! He loves summer and always embraces adventures with a big smile on his face! I cannot wait to see you all at camp!!!

Hi y’all! My name is Savannah Tully, and I am from Bristol, Indiana. I currently attend the University of Missouri Science and Technology; this coming year will be my second year there. I am studying Primary Education, and I am also a part of the Women’s Soccer team! I attended Kohahna for five years and this will be my first year on staff. If I could have one fictional character be a camper I would have to pick Fancy Nancy. She is so funny, and I loved reading the books when I was younger. We are very opposite. I was not fancy at all when I was little! I am so excited to be out in the sun and in the water all summer–I cannot wait for all the activities and time around the campfire.

I'm super excited to be back for my 6th summer at camp and 2nd year on staff! I'm looking forward to all the fun evening activities and enjoying the beauty of Michigan! Hi, I am Sandalia Walker. I'm 22 and just finishing up my Masters in Biology and Marine Biology at the University of Southampton, England.

I am originally from California but have been living in England for the last 12 years. I've been a camper at Kohahna for 4 years but this is my first year on staff! This summer I'm looking forward to being back at camp, getting the opportunity to see old friends and getting to meet and work with this year's set of campers! If I could have any fictional character as a camper, I would choose Moana!

Christine Keough is fresh out of high school and a proud Michigander. She loves spending time outside, enjoying live music, and writing about herself in the third person. Christine plans to spend her first year free of high school participating in a gap year program called Semester At Sea.

This will be Christine’s 10th year at camp (hellooo 10-year blanket!!) but her first year as a counselor. At camp this year she looks forward to seeing who can sing the loudest at cookout to get food first.

Hi I’m Bear! I wear one and a half white socks. I love to stand still to enjoy and take in my surroundings. I just go with the flow! My hobbies include standing in the corner of the barn and contemplating my next meal while always being a good boy. I love Stella sooo much!

Hi I’m Charlie! I love to graze. My best friend is Gunner, we love to stay together. I’m dark brown with a dark brown mane with the softest and shiniest fur. I love the little campers and being groomed. When you clean my hooves I’ll watch over your shoulder.

Hey I’m Gunner! I am light brown with one socks. I love to run around the pasture! While I haven’t been at camp for very long, I have the routine down. My favorite part of the day is breakfast. I am very proactive as I wait outside the barn to watch for Anika in the morning.

What’s up y’all?! It’s me, Kuzco! I love to smack my lips and scuff my feet, it’s impossible for me to stand still. I’m a practiced escape artist especially to get out of my halter. I’m a handsome boy, dark brown with a black mane. Anika tells me I’m a handsome boy but I already know.

Hello I’m Millie! This is my first summer at camp and I’m so so excited. I love to graze and look so fashionable wearing my sunflower halter. I’m tall and light brown and also have soft fur. I’m a messy eater, Anika tells me to eat from the bucket but I can’t help but eat my food off the ground. Again I’m just so excited for my first summer with the campers!

Hello I’m Stella! I am brown and wear four white socks. My favorite piece of clothing is my zebra print blanket (it’s top of the line). I am a girl boss and the leader of the herd. I love my boyfriend Bear, when he is out riding I will make it clear that I don’t like to be apart.
